Christopher’s Smile
was set up
in October 2008 by Karen and Kevin Capel following the tragic death of their
only son Christopher from medulloblastoma, an aggressive childhood brain tumour.

As well as uplifting Good News, the site also investigates other aspects of everyday life which aim to inspire a positive outlook: Effective UK Charities, Responsible Companies and their CSR, Sports with a Positive Spin and Green Travel are their main areas. The site is edited by seasoned world class journalists but is also creating a community of optimists that share inspiring stories and vote on their favourite charities and companies each week.
